A Little History! What is CALL?

Hello, my dear readers again! I hope you are having a beautiful day! In this post, I will briefly talk about the historical development of CALL.

CALL is an abbreviation of Computer-assisted-language-learning.  With the development of computers, teachers and students started to use computers in different ways throughout history. And of course, it is inevitable to avoid technology in a learning environment. I prepared a short timeline based on the milestones. Rise and shine my dear readers!   I’ve got big news for you. As a part of our course, we recorded a podcast with my friend Saliha! Well, if you haven’t heard it so far, I will explain briefly. click here for source Podcasts are like online radio shows and they are very popular. They can be about any topic you want. They can be listened to anytime and anywhere. They also can be series and downloaded. Personally, I like listening to motivational and psychological podcasts on my phone. Yet, I sometimes listen to open courses from well-known universities. They are really useful and also helps me with English. Take it as a piece of advice! So, here is my review of our podcast and its process. The recording part was both fun and funny. Because hearing your own voice is a bit both interesting and cringe-making.
